The Collision Industry Conference (CIC) has released its feather/prime/block definitions in an attempt
to help body shops and insurers determine where body work stops and paint work starts. This gap has been a point of
contention for some time, and CIC's Estimating Procedures Committee hopes the document, published in April, will
