Senior officials at the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) say a
“compliance directive” is being prepared to assist collision repair shops and other
industries affected by new hexavalent chromium exposure limits. The compliance directive is in its final stages,
although a release date has not yet been determined, according to Jonathan L. Snare, OSHA’s deputy
