House Subcommittee approves Right to Repair Act |

BETHESDA, Md. – The Motor Vehicle Owners' Right to Repair Act (H.R. 2048) is alive and
well for the aftermarket following a tight vote on Capitol Hill that pushed the legislation forward. The House
Commerce, Trade and Consumer Protection Subcommittee voted 14-13 in favor of the legislation, which is designed to
require the Federal Trade Commission to enforce requirements that independent repair shops have access to the same
