Members of the collision repair community in Austin, Texas, banded together recently for a casino
night that netted the area $5,500 – funds that will be used to educate young technicians. The Austin
District 787 Scholarship Fund has sponsored numerous students in the Auto Body Repair Program at Texas State
Technical College in Waco, Texas. The latest effort, Casino Night, was held May 20th at the Red Lion Inn in Austin
and was a huge success, according to JP Perry, Casino Night Event Chairman and Collision Center Manager of Maxwell
Ford Collision Center.
