Cleveland jurors last month found that welding rod manufacturers were not liable in a case involving
the alleged manganese poisoning of a Texas welder. The verdict in this case, one of several thousand that were
consolidated in U.S. District Court in Cleveland, was good news for the welding industry, although significant
