The Automotive Service Association (ASA) board of directors has approved a position statement on open platforms presented by the ASA Insurance Subcommittee. The subcommittee drafted the text under the direction of Mike Schoonover, Schoonover Body Works, St. Paul, Minn., who chairs the subcommittee.
